Born in Cuba, raised in Miami, and currently ruling New York, Ariel Aparicio is a bona fide Rock Star. That’s right, we said it: ROCK STAR. His sound is unmistakably shake-down-the-walls-with-your-badass-guitar-ROCK.
And we think it makes sense. When Ariel came to New York he did what a lot of us musicians do: he got a got a job busing tables and serving drinks. The only difference is, when we did it, it wasn’t for the likes of Andy Warhol and Grace Jones. From the time Ariel stepped foot in Manhattan, he seemed to have a trail of stardust leading the way.
Since those brushes with fame, Ariel set his sights on nothing short of super-stardom. And he’s well on his way. Touring like mad, recording nearly constantly, and somehow making time for interviews and press runs, Ariel is living the life of a hard-rock-loving, axe-thrashing star.
