Joshua Klipp

Joshua Klipp’s music is transformational.  It transforms soul into rock and vice versa.  It transforms slick beats into deep harmonies.  It transforms melodic vocal lines into finger-popping, foot-stomping hooks.  And why shouldn’t it?  This transgender artist knows a little something about transformation, himself.

His big break?  On the Tyra Banks show, of course.  Asked to tape a segment on being a transgender man in a relationship, he agreed on one condition: Tyra had to talk about his music.  And once she heard it, talk she did!  He made a few instant fans that day, but the biggest of all was yet to come.

When it was time to shoot his first video, who directed it?  One Miss Margaret Cho.  This legend of comedy couldn’t resist Joshua’s tracks.  And we’re willing to bet you can’t either.  Get more of Joshua’s outstanding oeuvre courtesy of your buddies at Homophonic.
